Fans of boro, Japanese fabrics/construction methods, discharge prints, indigo-dyed goods, 100% cotton garments, and keeping your torso warm—check out the @setto_indigo_label Arts Crafts Kofu Jacket.
What’s not to love about a simple jacket made extremely beautiful through the patching together of various indigo-dyed fabrics? Someone at Setto Indigo Label is feeling crafty, hence the name. This is more than just having a bunch of cool fabrics on hand and slapping them together, it’s a bunch of cool Japanese fabrics slapped together, by master Slapsman located in Japan.
All fabrics sewn together were produced in Kojima Japan, aka the denim capital of the world, so this ain’t just a bunch of random stuff they had lying around… this is an intentionally made garment that you won’t find anywhere else.
With dobby cloth lining, so you know it’s warm, the jacket features a zipper closure, buttoning collar and cuffs, raglan sleeves, and two hand pockets. It’s reinforced everywhere due to it being a patchwork piece, so don’t worry about messing it up when you’re out there working in the thing, just focus on the fades you’re accumulating.
